Morning Rituals

I look back in my life to teachings from my earliest mentor.

He said, “You must work harder on yourself then your job, if you want life to get better you have got to get better." He also said, “If you want to be happy you must always keep improving who you are and what you give."

If you decide to model the actions of those who have succeeded before you, I can tell you it's just a matter of time until your own success becomes a reality.

Every person has a set of rituals each morning when they first wake up. Your life is built upon your rituals; if you want to improve, you must focus on properly developing your rituals and self-care habits.

Not every morning do we wake up feeling 100% ready to hop out of bed. Maybe we had a bad nights sleep, it’s cold outside, or we may have another challenge to overcome.

To overcome these excuses, I believe it’s important to adopt rituals specific to what you as a person need to make time for. Self-care can range from reading, meditation, a workout, yoga, cooking a substantial breakfast – any combination which allows you to have 2 to 3 hours of personal time before you walk through the door at work.

Staying grounded, slowing down, becoming less reactive and more intuitive – I promise you will see results in your productivity and ultimately your success in life.

Making the time to develop yourself in this way creates a long-term blueprint for success. Before you can help others, you must get yourself right.
